Again, another call streak hits the 10 mark. Nice. Also, not many prediction sites are even close with their own call streaks currently.  Looking at the film end, Possession did repeat with great number calls on the entire field outside of Raiders IMAX. What happened? Film had great pre-sales, maybe most were just waiting for the Indy Blu-Ray instead.
The Bourne Legacy did break the 100 million dollar domestic mark, and 2016 did pass both Sicko and An Inconvenient Truth in documentary box office.

Have a great week,

    Ouch.

Looks like under $10 mill is the new “normal”.

It’s always slow this time of year, but…sheesh….the #1 movie comes in at $9 mill?

Worse, according to Reuters the new opener “Cold Light Of Day” bombed spectacualrly with just $1.8 mill. We’re approaching nuclear proportions in terms of bombs here. And that, in spite of having Willis, Cavill (I know…who?) and Weaver in the cast. The good news is that there is little room to fall any further and if the movie is any good it may yet grow on word-of-mouth.

Positively dismal showing. But hollywood has brought this on itself, so I shed no tears.

With any luck maybe some good halloween offerings can bring a lift.
