NEWS FLASH: Pitt movie finally breaks $10 mil. mark…over a week from opening.
But here’s what’s weird; According to Boxoffice Mojo “Guardians” won the weekend, with “Skyfall” coming in second. And they have “Lincoln” barely in the top 5. Go figure.
So…okay…everyone knows that “Hobbit” will slaughter everything else at the boxoffice this weekend, but do they actually think that by waiting one week “Reacher” will gain any traction over “Hobbit”?
Hardly family Christmas fare, as hard as they are pushing “Reacher” in P&A?…I think cruise & company is in for a large disappointment.
Coz expecting the “Hobbit” to cool down enough after one week to make room for Tom’s latest effort is like like expecting scientology allowing you to keep your money. Just doesn’t happen.
Of course the one good thing that could happen is that people will buy tickets to “Reacher” because “Hobbit” is sold out for the next two weeks.
Hey…*shrug*…any excuse for popcorn with partially hygrogenated, butter-flavored artery cloggers on it will do. Even a Cruise movie.
Even a Cruise movie, good point. The frame will be strong, so I could see even Cruise doing well.
